Digital Media

I have this class at UVU that I LOVE. It seriously is the only class I actually look forward to going to each day. It is my Digital Media class. I have already learned so much in that class. We have recently been doing photoshop. And I'm proud to say that I have gotten A's on all of my assignments.... Here are just a few examples of what we do........
This is the very first one I made. I was a supposed to be all about me.
We also had to do a patriotic theme. I did both of these not knowing which one to turn in. I had a vote and the top one won. I took a picture my mom had of Fairview Canyon and put and eagle in trying to make it look like it was carrying the flag. My dad says the other one looks like it could be a postage stamp.
This is my final project in photoshop. We had to use every element that we learned in class. As you can tell I have Summer Fever! This one was the funnest to do.
Lately we have been working on web pages. Here is one of the pages that I made. I did a theme about horses and then did the different page for the gaited horses that we have. I am learning so much and I love it! We have done lots more, but these are just a few I wanted to share!

Ice Skating

This post is a couple of weeks late, but I guess it's better late than never right? After work one night Kenzie called and told me she had free ice skating tickets! I haven't been ice skating since I was in young womens and I was up to trying something different. So we got our group of friends together and went. I got there late because of work, and only had an hour to skate, but trust me that was plenty. My legs were sore by the time we were done. And this is probably something I shouldn't admit, but I did fall on my butt one time! It was so embarrassing. People kept stopping to ask if I needed help up, that made it even worse. Me and Cassidy couldn't stop laughing especially when her and another guy went to help me up, but only ended up dragging me across the ice! Good thing I can take getting embarrassed. It was a great time!

This is the attempt at taking a picture of us skating. It is kinda blurry but I am the one in the grey hoodie trying to keep my balance with my arms out! Yeah I know Professional ice skating is not on my list of career choices!
 Cheesy? Yes!

I am definatley having some good times up here in not so happy valley! :)

St. George

Wow it has been a long time since I have posted anything, but now I have good reason to! This past weekend me and some of my friends headed to St. George. We went to watch Rugby! I have never been to an actual Rugby game. The closest that I have came was watching Forever Strong. Ever since watching that movie I have wanted to see an actual game, and now finally I have. We left friday night after everyone was done with school and work.  And saturday morning we made it to the Snow College vs. UVU game. Now that was not intentional, but it worked out so good. It was cool actually knowing the people that were playing. I did see someone break their nose, which was really gross, but it was cool. Now I can say that I've been to a Rugby game, even though I had NO clue what was going on the whole time!

Me, Jessica and Ana watching the game!

First experience with Rugby

Eating at the Mongolian BBQ after the game!

Befor we headed home we had to stop by the Temple and walk aroundl. It is so pretty there!

It was a great time, and I'm glad that we went! Definately something to add to the book for memories!

New Years and moving

New Years was a lot of fun this year! I stayed home and spent it with my family. We started the day off by taking Shaelynn and Paeton to Princess and the Frog! What a cute movie! Not as good as Lion King, but a cute show anyways! I recommend it! Then we went home, cooked some pizza and was ready to start the party. Trevor's family, Ryan's family, My parents, and I were all there! We ate, and played Band Hero! Shaelynn sure did get a fun Chirstmas present! Thanks for sharing it with us!

Me and Pae ready to party!

The Band!

The Guitar Hero!! :)

Me and Shae singing together!

My dad even got in to sing a couple times!

My mom was content holding Kellen while we played!

This is my new room for the next couple of months while I go to UVU! I'm really nervous and exited to start school again. I'm really excited to start my new computer classes and meet new friends. It will be a big adjustment cause I'm definately not a city girl, so it's a good thing I'm only an hour from home! I'm already missing working at Moroni Feed Co. But my new job at Parkers Drive In starts Tuesday! It's such a relief to have a job! I'm also missing my family, I love you all!

Christmas

I can't believe that Christmas has already come and gone! This year has gone by way fast! But Christmas was exciting as it always is! Thanks to Santa for my great presents I loved them all!

Don't you think my horse will look even better with the red Saddle blanket, bridle, and stirrups? I do!

I guess it has now become tradition to go to my brother's house's to watch my nieces and nephews open their Christmas presents. It is fun to watch them get excited about Santa and their new presents!

This was the on our way home from Rory's. It was so cold that morning, but the tree's looked pretty cool!

On my way to talk to Elder Olson!

Kellen On his First Christmas!

I also want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my Dad! I have the greatest Dad! He does everything he can for his family and the Gospel. And I appreciate everything that he does for me! (which is a lot) I will always and forever be a "Daddy's Girl"

This is a picture of my Grandpa's horse pulling my Uncle Dalen's new cart. It was taken in Huntington right by my grandparents house. I think most everyone got to enjoy a ride that day. We now have the cart at our place, and have used it several times. It is really fun to ride on.

Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving was a lot of fun this year. It was nice to have family over that I hadn't seen in a long time. We had a really good dinner with lot of food. I'm so glad that my parents are such good cooks.:) Here are just a few of the pictures we took:

After the dinner was over, me, my dad, and my brothers went for a horse ride. It was so much fun. Thanks everyone for the fun day!
