Christmas Fun and Happy Birthday Dad

I had kind of a bad start to my Christmas morning. Instead of waking up at 5 a.m because of excitment, I woke up because my tonsils were bleeding. I never expected that, and it was quite a bit of blood that I was spitting up. I didn't know what was going on, so I was pretty scared. Then my mom read a paper from the doctor that said bleeding was common around the 7th day. So after we got it cleaned up we headed back to bed, before seeing what Santa had left for us. Around 8 we woke back up and went to see what Santa had left for Shaelynn and Paeton. This was the first year we got to see them when they first saw their presents. It was fun to be there with them. Next we headed over to Chester to see what Santa left there. It is fun to see the kids get excited over their new toys. It is tradition for my Grandma to come over and be with us to watch us open presents. This year we were a little late getting to our presents, that she was beginning to think we had forgotten about Christmas. But finally we made it back to see what Santa left under our Christmas Tree. Santa was good to us all this year. I loved the presents, and being able to spend time with family. That is always my favorite part, is being able to have all of my family together. Me and Trevor were kind of dead heads because we weren't feeling good, but it still turned out to be a nice Christmas.

Last of all I just want to say Happy Birthday to my dad. We won't mention the age, but we always get to celebrate his birthday along with the birth of the Savior. I hope he had a good birthday this year. I just want to tell him how much I love him, and am grateful for all that he does for me. I can't thank him enough for our friendship, and the blessings he brings into our home. My mom may not think so, but when me and my dad get together, we can be pretty funny. I'm grateful that he holds the preisthood, and will give me father's blessings. I don't think I would have made it through this week without that blessing, and I'm very thankful for that. I love you Dad! I hope you had a good birthday!

Christmas Caroling

Last night we went Christmas Caroling. It was lots of fun. Jed Bailey hooked up his horses and wagon, and we all went for a ride. For the first little bit, we just enjoyed the ride and listened to music on the stereo. Then Tammy decided it was time to sing. It turned out to be really fun. Katy was thinking we were on Cinderella's carriage, and it was taking us to the ball. It was good just to get together with everyone. It had been a long time since I had been Caroling. The Horses and Wagon just added to the fun. After the Caroling we all came back to our house and had soup and cookies. It was a really fun night. Mom and Heidi

Trip to Richfield

As my dad would say I lowered my standards and went and hung out with some friends in Richfield. I don't know what my dad has against Richfield, he says it has nothing to offer but wind. I thought it was fun though. The only bad part was that Jessica Brown was not there. So anyways after a Christmas party, we headed up Salina Canyon and went to stay the night in Kenzie's cabin. It was a blast. Girls nights are always the best. You can talk about anything and be yourself. We watched Horton Hears a Who, and talked about anything and everything. This is the pit stop at Flying J on the way up!
In the Store I found the biggest pair of flip flops I had ever seen. The picture doesn't even compare!

We finally made it up, and it was a little chilly!

Me and Kallie

The whole group. We all had to cuddle together to keep warm. We had blanket stacked on top of us. I stayed pretty warm, just my nose got cold, and I HATE THAT!

Crazy Week

My Week has turned out be be a crazy one! I seem to have gone non stop all week. On monday after a day's work I took Cassie to the hospital so she could be there to take care of Ryan. Who would have thought we would be the first to come and the last to leave, but it was all good. It gave me and Cassie time to enjoy a Chicken Salad! I'm just grateful my brother is alive! After that it was a week of studying and trying to get ready for finals week. I did take time to spend with this beautiful little girl.... She is too cute. We have watched The Lion King everyday this week. Anytime I was home she would come right over and say "Lets Watch Our Movie." There was no talking her into a new one. It had to be Hakuna Matata, or as Paeton says it "Atuna tata." I even started belting out "Oh I just can't wait to be king" in front of my friends thursday night, and they looked at me like I was nuts. But I'm glad for the time spent with her. The bad news is my doctors appointment didn't go so well. I learned that I have to have sinus surgery and my tonsils removed. I'm not looking forward to that but hopefully it will make me feel better. I have also had to experience of taking a 3 year old into a public bathroom. She can ask some embarrassing things, and your just hoping no one heard, but knowing everyone did. All in all it was a crazy week, and I can't wait for finals week to be over!

Thanksgiving Weekend

Thanksgiving at our house was pretty quiet. It was just My parents, my Grandma Farnsworth and I. We enjoyed a nice turkey dinner, and even got in a nap. It was the quietest Thanksgiving I think I have ever had, but it was really nice. My mom also got us started on a puzzle. Who would have thought we would all get into as much as we did. My dad was even getting cranky about it. He would swat my hand out of the way, and try and steal my puzzle pieces. After we got tired of the puzzle, we watched 10,000 B.C. I think it is such a good movie. After the Movie we were back at the puzzle, we couldn't get ourselves to stop until about 11:30.
Friday we headed over to Huntington and enjoyed time with Family. And Saturday we went on a horse ride. All together it was a good Thanksgiving weekend. This is how far we got on the puzzle the first night. The Puzzle even glowed in the dark.
Putting the last piece of the puzzle in.

This is the finished project. I had a hard time letting my mom take it apart, but we got another one at Wal Mart today to start on.

Twilight

So tonight was the big night that we all have been waiting for. I was not ambitious enought to go to the midnight showing, but we did make it to the first night. I have mixed feelings about the show. A part of me liked it, and the other part of me was disappointed. I don't want to go into details and ruin it for those of you who still haven't seen it. But I do feel that it is a must buy, and will watch it again. I think I was mostly just disappointed in Edward and Carlisle. To me they were made to be these perfectly good looking people and they WEREN'T! But it was still good, and I'm glad I was able to go to it with all of my sister in laws and my aunt Tiffany. I think that is the first time I have done something will all my sister in laws, and I'm glad we did. It was a good time! Me and Heidi after the movie in front to the Twilight sign. That is the best I could do with my phone!

Fun Times

Yesterday was a good day for me. I started the morning off playing baby's with Paeton, and studying for my big Statistics mid term and Biology test. That part wasn't so fun, but the stuff before and after the tests were great! I also got my hair done. I went back to pretty much my natural color! Me and Paeton while playing baby's. I was allowed to be the Mom this time!
Two of my friends Jessica and Kenzie came down for a visit. We had a good time. We went out to dinner at Fat Jacks and then headed off to Western Swing. We ended up back at my house having popcorn and watching Montana Sky! Good Show!

Me and Kenz!

Today while in Creative Experiences for Children, the teacher let us make sock puppets. Who would have thought it could be so fun. We really got into it. My puppet is the one with the Fro. I love that this class lets us look at things from a kids prospective, and enjoy doing the activities, while planning them.

Thinking

Sunday after Relief Society, one of the teachers came up to me and asked me to help in the next week lesson. She gave me a quote and asked me to ponder it, and write down my thoughts. The quote she gave me was: "Stand fast, ye Saints of God, hold on a little while longer, and the storm of life will be past, and you will be rewarded by that God whose servants you are." I am so glad she asked me to do this. Ever since getting the quote I haven't stopped thinking. I thought of all "Storms of Life" I have faced, and the things that have helped me to get through it. I can't help but think that Heavenly Father provided me something to help me get through my "storms of Life." They are my Family! I have been so greatly blessed to have a family strong in the Gospel helping me "hold on a little while longer." I appreciate my Dad and Brothers who hold the Priesthood, and for a mother who stays so strong. And sister in laws who I look up to each day! I just want to tell you all thank you so much for helping me, and that I love you all so much! You are great examples to me, and help me try to be a little better each day!

My Week

Well my week hasn't been too exciting, but Cassie told me I needed to update my blog. Hopefully I passed my statistics test that I took this week. I am really looking forward to Christmas break, where I will no longer have to worry about statistics and biology. Thursday I got to watch Katy and Trey so that Rory and Trina could go to the Temple with my parents. They were so good. Katy insisted on watching here mom and dad's wedding video 3 times, but it was fun to have her tell me who everyone was, and yell thats my daddy naked when a picture with Rory not wearing a shirt came up. This weekend I went with Cassie to take Shaelynn to High School Musical 3. I'm glad Shaelynn liked it, and I had enjoyable time laughing and making comments through the whole movie. On saturday after a slow morning at work, my parents picked me up to take me out to lunch. They have the best Chicken Salads at Rodgers. They are so good. I got to spend my saturday afternoon with Shaelynn. It was lots of fun. I took her to the movie Hocus Pocus, and went on a bike ride. I love being able to spend time with my nieces and nephew. This is me and my cousin Jessie on the way home from High School Musical
This is a picture I took during the week while hanging out with Shae and Pae!

Great Start to the Weekend

I got a great start to the UEA weekend! It was so much fun! My dad took me and my mom riding horses. We went up and rode between Horse Canyon and Left Hand Fork. Thanks dad for taking us I had a lot of fun. I was hoping to see some deer, but no luck! Me on the way up
My dad on the Peruvian

This was a natural position for my horse. Any time it stopped it's head went right for the food. I swear it never stops eating. But I still love it!

My mom on her horse. She loves me taking pictures of her!

Me and my dad on top of the hill. Kinda looks like the edge of the earth.

After the Horse ride we went to get a load of wood. Look how hard I am working!

My dad was a little crippled, so I had to help him out a little bit.

He wanted to try and be muscle man, so I just sat back and watched. It was a great day!

A Scary Night

Before I start my story, I want to tell a little bit about me. I love scary movies. I love almost everything about them. My most favorite is the mystery. I love when it keeps you guessing. That is probably why mystery books are my favorite. I love when you are reading a book and you just can't put it down cause you HAVE to know what happens. I hate not knowing I have to ask someone that has read it a billion times what is going to happen. Like in Twilight all I want to know is if Edward sucks her blood? I mean come on that is what vampires are for. Maybe Cassie and Heidi shouldn't have got me to start this book. But that is how I am. I like to guess what is going to happen next. Even in every kind of movie. It could be a chick flick, comedy, or scary, but whatever it is, I will be guessing what is going to happen through out the whole movie. People probably hate watching a movie with me cause I have to say out loud what I think is going to happen. And Cassie always has to to tell me SHHH wait and see. And my mom will never tell me if I guessed the killer right.
Well anyways I had been planning for a couple weeks to go see two of my really good friends Kenzie and Jessica. So after an exciting day of people throwing their books and slamming the door on my teacher during school, I headed to Provo. They had been planning a surprise for me, and when I got there I found out that they were taking me to a haunted Corn Maze thing. I was SOOO Excited. So after Jessica aka Momsie cooked us dinner, which by the way was very good, we were on our way. But before we left I had to take the advice from their roommate Elsie and use the potty before we left. Good Advice! We should have known to turn around when we couldn't even make it inside without getting scared. They had this guy on stilts wearing the ugliest costume I had ever seen. Good thing I had Kenzie to be my partner so we could grab each others arms when we got scared. It was a blast!! I don't think I have ever been so scared in my life. I had went to the Haunted Forest with Steven before, but this just seemed worse. It didn't bother me too much when I could see the scary people ahead of me. I would just duck my head and close my eyes and pretend I didn't see them. Elsie tried to tell me to pretend I wasn't scared and they would leave me alone. I don't think that worked. I wasn't too good at pretending. I hated it when you would turn around expecting to see one of your friends and right behind you is this ugly thing. I know your probably thinking you are so stupid, but I LOVED IT! It was great I can't wait to do it again. It lasted about 45 minutes, and you are screaming and scared the whole time. They did such a good job.

Being a Sub

Since I only work saturday's at the Feed company, I had to find something else to do to earn some money. I decided since I am going into elementary education, I should do something with teaching. So I applied to be a sub. They called me and asked me to be a T.A. but I am glad that didn't work out, because that would be too much with school and all. So now I am a substitute teacher. I never thought I would do this, but it has turned out to be pretty fun. I did have one rough day with the second graders, and they still apologize to me everytime they see me. I guess it's a good thing they knew they were bad. But I have loved being the 4th grade sub. I have been their sub the most, and they are so much fun. The best part about it, is that I go away everytime with a new picture that someone has drawn me.
*P.S. I just thought that I would mention that Steven has now been gone for 3 months now. Seems like it's been forever, but Only 21 more to go! :)
